COMPANY LEADERS SEAN & SAMANTA STEFFER
OUR STORY & VISION
This husband and wife team met in the military, becoming fast friends and mission partners. As brand new Lieutenants, Sean and Samanta were assigned to lead a small element in Survival School and had big aspirations to make the military a long-term career.
God had slightly different plans.
They were married in 2012, became parents in 2016, and soon realized that God was calling them out of the military and into their Kingdom-calling. After 10 and 15 years of military service as officers in aviation, Samanta and Sean followed God's leading and moved from Florida to Georgia. By 2023, they received the mission statement and vision for what would become Discipleship Company and Coalition. In January of 2026, Discipleship Co. was officially launched with the mission to: equip, empower, encourage and connect the next generation of spiritual leaders.
Jesus is the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and has given Sean and Samanta a larger-than-life vision to repair, restore, and revive His house (Haggai 1-2). It is an undertaking we see evidenced throughout the Bible, in stories like Nehemiah, who risked his life to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem, as well as Israel's King David, whom God ultimately used to establish the ancestral line of Jesus, our LORD and Savior.
Sean and Samanta love Jesus and want others to have the fullness of life that can only be experienced through a discipleship relationship with Jesus Christ. They have both experienced the life-altering proof of God's redemption and love, and wish for others to take God at His Word, because it is the only thing that leads to life. In Matthew 22:34-40, Jesus clearly explains that the greatest commandment and requirement is to love God and to love people. We cannot do this without the help of the Holy Spirit, so it is a daily laying down of self and submitting to the power and lordship of Jesus over our lives that we base our lives on.

INTENTIONAL, ONE-ON-ONE DISCIPLESHIP IN A GROUP SETTING
Due to the unique mission set and process that God revealed to us, our bread and butter is intentional discipleship. We do this on a weekly basis in groups of no more than 12, one-on-one. It is what Jesus modeled for us and what He presently asked us to do at Discipleship Co.

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS OUR WONDERFUL COUNSELOR
A paragraph of space isn't enough to express the treasure that the Holy Spirit is to us. He is God's Own Spirit, our Counselor, Companion, and Promise. He gives us words when we need them, leaves us speechless at times, and gives us hope when we think we've lost it. The Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness, teaches us everything, reminds us of things we need to know, convicts our hearts when we make detours, guides us in all truth, warns us not to go there or do that, protects us, tells us about the future, gives us power (authority over darkness), and leads us in all aspects of life, business and ministry. Thank You, Holy Spirit.
SEEKING FIRST THE KINGDOM, ONE FAMILY IN CHRIST
God has clearly laid out His character and expectations for all of us. If we truly take Him seriously, read the Bible and seek to understand, we cannot deny that love, reconciliation, forgiveness, serving others, and unity are at the top of His list. Who are we to challenge what God says is best? We strive for unity and consider ourselves ministers of reconciliation, Ambassadors of Christ, here on this earth.
FAITHFUL STEWARDSHIP AND FRUITFUL MULTIPLICATION
Discipleship Co. is a collective of disciples of Jesus Christ on mission to revive the Church. The call on every Christian is to be a disciple of Jesus and to make disciples of Jesus, until our LORD and Savior returns. Is God calling you to be a part of this rebuilding movement?
BIBLICALLY-SOUND TEACHING AND MENTORSHIP
The Gospel nor the mission have changed, yet many of us don't have a safe place to land when life changes. Are you going off to college or moving for a new job? Maybe God has uniquely positioned you to minister outside the walls of a church building. At Discipleship Co., you will always have a home base.
TEACHING OBEDIENCE TO ACTIVATE AUTHORITY & MIND OF CHRIST
In Matthew 28:18, Jesus said that all authority in Heaven and on earth is His. He then proceeded to activate His disciples to fulfill the Great Commission. The same commissioning applies to each follower of Christ today. Notice that in verse 20, Jesus says "I am with you." This simply tells us that we don't have to do this alone. In fact, we can't (John 15:5). We desperately need the Holy Spirit and to know the Word of God, for if we do not know what God has asked of us, how can we obey it? At Discipleship Co., we believe and teach the principles of obedience and how it activates our God-given authority to carry out what He purposed us to accomplish.
THE WORD IS COMPLETE, ACTIVE, SHARP AND ABLE TO ACCOMPLISH FAR MORE THAN ANY OTHER RESOURCE
We believe that the Word of God (the Bible) is the very DNA of Jesus. John 1 says that the Word was there at the beginning, with God and is God, then it became flesh. Hebrews 4:12 tells us that it's alive and active, sharper than any double edge sword, able to expose our innermost thoughts and even divide soul & spirit, bone & marrow. Revelations 22, Deuteronomy 4:2, Deuteronomy 12:32, and Proverbs 30:6 all warn not to add or take away from what God gave us as an already complete instruction (the Bible). We take this very seriously, and are very intentional with what additional resources we produce or utilize.
